Welcome to the BC Wildlife Park

Welcome to the British Columbia Wildlife Park, the most interactive wildlife experience in BC. As a non-profit organization we continually dedicate our efforts to the conservation of BC wildlife through display, interpretation, education, wildlife rehabilitation, endangered species and direct action. You can experience all of this and more when you visit us.

The BC Wildlife Park has 65 BC species including Grizzly bears, Timber wolves, Cougars, Moose, Mountain goat, Birds of Prey and many more, all in the spacious exhibits on the beautiful grounds of our 50 hectare Park. Each day, fun activities include interactive displays, wildlife encounters, and interpretive talks including Grizzly Bear Feedings, Timber Wolf Feeding, Cougar Feeding, Moose Feeding, Wolf Pack Demonstration, and Wildlife Encounters.

Join us on stage at our new outdoor Amphitheatre for our exciting summer event: The B.C. Wildlife Encounters Festival. Feel the rush of air as Birds of Prey swoop over your head and meet wonderful BC wildlife. June 30 to September 3 at 11:00 am and 1:00 pm daily.

We are conveniently located along the Trans Canada Highway just 15 minutes east of Kamloops and we have free and convenient coach parking next to the Discovery Centre. Our new 1,800 sq.m. (18,000 sq.ft.) award winning Discovery Centre includes the BC Eco-Discovery Gallery that features interactive fun and learning experiences. This new gallery allows guests to explore the unique habitats of the province on which BC wildlife depend - Rainforest, Grasslands, Mountains, Interior Plateaus and the North.

Everything You Need
The park has everything you need for a memorable outing with family and friends. We have a spectacular location for birthday parties, family reunions, or simply a quiet lunch for two. Take in the relaxing surroundings while watching the Grizzly bear, Sheba. Or enjoy your farm-fresh ice cream cone while watching the bison roam! Perhaps a bag of popcorn and ride on the Wildlife Express miniature train is to your liking. The possibilities are endless! At the end of the day be sure to commemorate your Wildlife Park experiences with a visit to the Naturally yours Gift Shop in our air-conditioned Visitor Centre.

The Kamloops RV Park is a friendly family oriented park with numerous nearby attractions including the BC Wildlife Park. Guests of the Kamloops RV Park receive special admission discounts to the BC Wildlife Park. For further information on the Kamloops RV Park, please go to their web site at www.kamloopsrvpark.ca.

About The Park
The BC Wildlife Park is one of the "must see" attractions in British Columbia. While the Vancouver Aquarium interprets the marine wildlife of the province, at the BC Wildlife Park you can explore the amazing terrestrial wildlife of Super, Natural BC. The British Columbia Wildlife Park was recently awarded the "Tourism Excellence Award" by the Kamloops Chamber of Commerce.

The BC Wildlife Park is operated by a not-for-profit Society dedicated to interpretation and conservation of BC wildlife and their habitats. Visitors learn how the BC Wildlife Park is helping wildlife through Wildlife Rehabilitation, Captive Breeding of Endangered Species, and Education Programs. There are special events throughout the year and the most popular is Wildlights "the most interactive Christmas Festival in BC", that attracts over 20,000 visitors from all over the province.
